I was chatting a while ago to a fellow businesswoman about the benefits of Twitter and the amount of time we all spend tweeting.
She was telling me that she had hired a Business Mentor who had quizzed her on the amount of business she gained from Twitter and we were comparing notes to that effect. We both agreed that orders obtained through Twitter whilst valued were by no means a dominant contribution to our business turnover. This admission lead to the Mentor lecturing my fellow tweeter that the amount of time she spent on Twitter was disproportionate to the financial reward she obtained in return. [..]
